Who is The Gypsy Songstress ?
Born in Melbourne Australia and being the second youngest of nine children in a very musical family (think the Von Trap family meets the Brady bunch), Miss Lydia Rose was surrounded by music as a child and knew that a career in music was all she wanted.
Being a true free spirit, this Gypsy has lived and performed in countless countries worldwide. At the young age of 18, Lydia began her musical journey throughout Europe, Africa, USA, Asia and performed at the hottest venues in New York, New Orleans, London and Ibiza. It was in Ibiza that she co-founded the island acoustic band ‘Ladidah’ and sang at the most prestigious clubs and beach bars including the worlds’ Iconic Cafe del Mar and Pacha.
In addition, Lydia performed throughout Europe at weddings, corporate events and private parties so, needless to say, her client list is both extensive and impressive.
And now this Gypsy calls the tropical island of Bali home. This Island swap has proved to be the right move as she now has residencies at the top venues on the island, as well as regularly travelling to perform at weddings and events throughout Asia and Australia including the Formula 1 Grand Prix, Melbourne Cup, Australian Open etc…
Lydia performs with various world class musicians and DJ’s in Asia and Australia and can tailor an individual package for your event. The musical lineup includes (but is not limited to) the options of guitar (featuring Indonesia’s top guitarist~ Mr Dickie Fitrianto), Saxophone, Bongos, Dj’s or all options combined.
But one thing is for certain, Lydia’s infectious energy and undeniable vocal abilities combined with her extremely talented team of musicians make every performance a standout show not to be missed.

Within the first few lines of hearing Lydia’s soulful voice we knew we had to have her, so we not only hired her as a resident performer playing 3 times a week, but also as our number one performer for weddings and special events. Lydia’s unique voice and energy really engages the audience creating a dynamic and fun atmosphere!

Thank you so much Lydia for your time performing with us through 2013 & 2014 seasons at Nikki Beach Ibiza. It was an absolute pleasure to have met someone with your talent, gift, professional poise and demeanor.

Lydia was an incredible addition to the entertainment team at the Hard Rock Hotel. Her energy and ability to interact with the crowd, in addition to the obvious vocal ability and talent made her a favourite entertainer for guests and clients at the Hard Rock.

We would love to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your participation in the wedding and just the sheer commitment to entertaining us and all our guests. I have asked all the guests to name their favorite moments of the wedding and the dance floor is a crowd favorite and that is because of you! So many special moments with music and just dancing with our loved ones. A huge thanks for making our wedding the best day ever xxx

Hola Lydia,
Just wanted to say a maHOOsive thanks for playing at our wedding last month.
Your song list is so diverse it was great to be able to choose songs to suit everybody and you even learnt a few new songs for us! If you do ever record ‘How Long Will I love You’, I would love to have it to remind me of walking down the aisle, it was such a beautiful moment and my mum said afterwards it was what set her off – she loves that song and didn’t know it was going to be played. You were a fantastic asset to our big day and such a talented and fun performer, we had lots of comments from our guests saying how brilliant you were. Thank you so much again! Lots of love,
